Schneider Electric Hands-on Certified Workshops

iHub is pleased to partner with Schneider Electric in providing hands-on workshops related in the fields of power generation, delivery and industrial automation. All workshops will be provided in well equipped labs, through certified instructors using cutting edge technologies. 
​
The workshops target 3rd & 4th year undergrads and recent grads in the field of Electrical Power Engineering. The workshops are in topics needed by the industry and will enable participants to acquire the needed knowledge and skills to enter this field. All those who complete the workshops successfully will get an official certificate from Schneider Electric.

Power Quality For Industrial Loads Workshop

Instructor: Eng. Sayed Mohamed (certified from Schneider Electric.
Hours: 20 hours
Dates: 4/2/19-8/2/19 10:00 am-02:00 pm

Location:  Schneider lab, Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University
​Fees
:- EGP 1000 (First 25 to complete their registration will receive 75% DISCOUNT through Schneider's Scholarship)
Schneider Electric Scholarship: The FIRST 25 people to COMPLETE their registration will receive the workshop for 250 EGP (They will pay a deposit of 500 EGP and get 250 EGP reimbursed when they complete the course)
Registration Instructions: Applicants need to BOTH apply online and then confirm their reservation, by visiting the iHub office, Faculty of Engineering, ASU, CHEP building, Third Floor, Sun-Thu 12.00 : 02.00 except on Friday and Saturday.​

Certification: Those who complete the workshop will get certified in the topic by Schneider Electric

  1. Why is it necessary to manage harmonics?
  2. Definition and Origin of Harmonics.
  3. Essential indicators of harmonics distortion and Measurement principles.
  4. Harmonic measurement in electrical networks.
  5. Main Effects of harmonics in electrical installations.
  6. Solution to mitigate harmonics​.

Motor Starting, Operation and Protection Workshop
