ASU INNOVATES - IDEA TRACK


ASU INNOVATION COMPETITION - Idea Track
ASU innovation competition is designed to empower entrepreneurs and foster an Eco-system of innovation and entrepreneurship in ASU. The ASU INNOVATION COMPETITION - Idea Track is a pitching competition where contestants from different disciplines and backgrounds are encouraged to find a solution that solve an existing problem or add value. Create a business model for their product or service and successfully pitch their solution.

Who can apply to ASU INNOVATES COMPETITION - Idea Track 
Ideas Track: Applicants should
  • Be an ASU students, graduates, faculty or staff.
  • Be confident, calculated risk takers, and can assess when it makes sense to embark on a new venture, pivot, or start anew.
  • Be collaborative individuals with an ability to combine critical thinking with openness to new ideas.
  • Show active contribution to their community as well as being value and action oriented.
  • Show commitment, determination and resilience “can follow-through even when the going gets tough”, also commit to attend the competition orientation sessions, Bootcamp, meetings, etc.
  • Have a strong and relevant technical background and skills to the camp theme.

​Program Requirements and Deliverable: “Contesting teams should fulfill the below to be eligible to ASU innovates idea track competition”
  • Attend the scheduled bootcamp sessions.
  • Attend all the mentorship meetings.
  • Attend all the milestones delivery meetings.
  • Deliver all the required tasks on time.
  • Deliver business model, marketing plan, financial plan and prototype by the end of the program.
  • Successfully pitch their idea and business model and pass the judging committee criteria.
Program Duration: 6 Days – 8 Hours / Day
