Earth Building Methods Workshop
This workshop includes three modules
1. Earth Building Methods Hands-on Training (via Handover)
Location : The workshop takes place in a private farm house for Al Taweel Family at al shrouk city.
Objective: Design and build a shading element using traditional method like rammed earth method and wooden installations.
This workshop is about unleashing creativity and experimenting earth building techniques. The workshop combines earth building methodologies with self-awareness that reflects on creativity to provoke authentic implementations in the field of earth construction. The learning outcomes of this module are:
2. Design Thinking Workshop
Location: iHub Studio, ASU
Objective: Innovation and design thinking is for anyone willing to change their mindset, not only about challenges and problem solving, but also about creating something new. We will conduct this design thinking module within the workshop for to let you learn how to use design methods in order to innovate how they work and what they create.
Our approach is to provide a very interactive and practical workshop to get you started with design thinking and learning through doing. We will share with you some of the best tools to use when getting started with our method. We can also provide you with a book and online programs from Innovation Learning to help you sustain the learning and development. We will also keep you connected to some of the most important design thinking toolkits, books, and techniques.
We want to help you not only learn to use design thinking methods and techniques, but to also develop the mindset or attitude of a design thinker who is focused on innovating WITH your customers and users to succeed sooner.
3. Effective Communication Workshop
Objective: Improve interactions with others, build stronger relationships with your team and become more productive at work.
Location: iHub Studio, ASU
Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to;
