Pneumatics Technology

Location: Engineering Square Industrial Park, North Extension of Industrial Zones, 6th of October City, Giza, Egypt (Buses for 25 EGP/day are available)
Cost: 900 EGP (Payment needs to be made in ASU by 26/8/2015)

Certification:
  • Trainees who complete the training will get a training certificate from ASU iHub that is internationally recognized through our international partner SIEMENS
  • ASU CHEP students receive 2 weeks of training credit for this training course

Training Objectives:

The main objective of this training is to provide the participants with teh ability to configure pneumatic circuits according to defined automation needs.

Training Contents:

      The participant will cover the following knowledge and skills competencies:
      • Introduction to pneumatic systems
      • Design, assemble, and test basic Pneumatic circuits
      • Identify and describe the construction, design features, and operation of pneumatic components
      • Interpret technical specifications and data relating to pneumatic components and systems
      • Identify and explain graphical symbols for pneumatic components
      • Describe the design, operation and installation of compressed air generation and distribution equipment
      • Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic components and basic pneumatics based control systems

      Training Class Size: 
      12 (max)

      Prerequisites: 
      Candidates should be a student Faculty of engineering  majoring in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

      Training Method:
      The participants will 
      1. learn all contents through lectures and presentations
      2. see practically what they have studied in lectures using training kits & models.
      3. conduct practical training on what they have studied using:
        - Models.
        - Training kits.
        - Diagnosis devices.
