Course Description:
This course gives a hands-on introduction and training on Optical MEMS design. The course is divided into three main modules. The first module covers the theoretical background needed. The second module involves hands-on training for the students to design and simulate using state of the art CAD tools used in the design process. The third module involves hands-on experimental lab work. Those who excel in this course are eligible to join an R&D student to assist in efforts that may lead to publications in reputable conferences and journals.
