Software Project Management Workshop

The course spans more than 120 hours over 20 days.
The workshop will be held during the period: 2/7-27/7/17
Location: OCS HQ, 6th of October
​CHEP Training Credit: 4 weeks
Cost: 1000 EGP (or proof of CHEP training payment)
 (Payment needs to be made in ASU by 1/7/2016).
​​​​CHEP Students who already paid their training fees, will need to fill a form and four  weeks worth of training will be deducted from their training credit

Training Description:
This workshop will introduce you to the software project management methodology usually used to provide a consistent approach to the management of projects. We will explain a high level project management method that offers a set of tools and techniques, which are scalable and adaptable to all internal and external projects.
We will describe the processes and guidelines for the formal documentation, definition, execution and control of projects throughout their lifecycle. We will summarize the overall Project Management processes and provides guidance on the roles and responsibilities of those involved. We will describe the information to be submitted at each key stage of the project.
Using Project management methodology will enable:
  • projects to deliver the expected benefits to customers and business
  • exert control at key points in each project to ensure that these benefits are actually secured in practice
  • provide a consistent approach to all projects
  • mitigate risk
  • improve project quality
  • improve project management maturity
