OVERVIEW
AUTOSAR (Automotive Open System Architecture) is a standardization initiative of leading automotive OEMs and suppliers and was founded in autumn 2003. The goal is to develop a reference architecture for ECU software, which can overcome the growing complexity of software in modern vehicles.
Accordingly, all those interested in embedded systems for automotive and all those looking to develop applications for automotive and ADAS, need to understand AUTOSAR.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Software developers and Computer Engineers that are interested in developing applications for automotive and those with a focus on embedded systems for automotive. Priority will be given to undergrads, whose Graduation Projects will be in the field of Embedded Systems for Automotive
GOALS
By the end of this course, participants will be:

GOALS
By the end of this course, participants will be:
- familiar with basic fundamentals of AutoSAR methodology
- able to author basic software components and familiar with internal behavior concept and implementation
- familiar with AutoSAR meta model and AutoSAR standard description files
- familiar with virtual functional bus and software components interaction
COURSE CONTENT
This workshop is highly interactive with many hands-on tasks, where students will be implementing most of what they get introduced to on the AutoSAR Studio. The workshop includes:
- AutoSAR Methodology fundamentals and workflow
- AutoSAR Layered model concept and architecture
- Software Components authoring and implementation
- Educational AutoSAR Studio tool by ARL
