The assessment
Your robots will be assessed before being committed to the track, the static assessment will evaluate the Mechanical and Electronic integration as well as the device-robot interface. The more creativity, novelty, integration perfection will receive higher scoring.
Then your robots will be committed to the track, every team will have by default two trials with no dedication from your scores, however if a team achieved only one trial he will gain a bonus for not using his second trail. a trial is accounted if the robot finishes the track, tracks with at one wheel out of the track lines or the team asks to retry after passing the start line. After finishing your lap, the lap time will be converted in to scoring points, the team will enter a new challenge to ascend a 15-20 degree ramp (this will add to your score, and not participating in the challenge will not dedicate from your score), Top 5 teams according to the total score will join a death match, where they all will race on one track to check who will pass the finish line first. Time
Challenges will start @10:00am according to schedule for every team which will be posted soon, however teams with highest readiness will be committed to the track first.
Disqualification Criteria
Teams will disqualify if spent more than 2 minutes on-track or if waste 5 trials.
Causing other teams to lose or trying disturbing the organizing activities will cause the team to be prevented from participation. The Challenges in Brief |
