The Faculty of Engineering ASU appreciates the powerful partnerships with the Industry leaders from different industries through its annual Industry day event. Throughout the year, many partnerships are created and executed in line with the Faculty’s industry interaction masterplan, FUSION.
To celebrate and emphasize these partnerships, ASU will have its Annual Industry Day hosting 100+ companies at the Faculty of Engineering on April 9th, 2019. The day will start at 9am and is expected to accommodate thousands of undergrads, researchers, and industry professionals seeking knowledge, experience, hands-on interaction, internships and employment from market leaders.
ASU students will get the opportunity to have face-to-face discussions with the companies’ HR teams in the Employment Fair held on campus. Technical managers will also engage with university department and unit heads to discuss technology trends, market forecasts, curricula changes and industry-academic collaboration in the Industry Academic Board meetings (IAB).
Hands-on Workshops and Seminars will be held and open to the public, where product, technical and marketing managers will share technology trends, market forecasts, recent product breakthroughs with the audience. Speakers will also share personal experiences and recommendations to the audience on how to get technically and personally prepared after graduation to enter their industries. These sessions are designed to be interactive and have all the student's concerns answered by expertise. The workshops will be divided into different tracks targeting the following sectors:
1. Entrepreneurship.
2. Smart City Construction & Planning.
3. Quality 4.0
4. Emerging Software Technologies.
5. IOT.
6. Oil & Gas.

Ain Shams University has been conducting an annual employment fair since 2013, organized by the ECDC ,, the university’s official Career Center. ASU Employment Fair 2019 is its 7th employment fair on the 9th of April from 10:00am to 5:00pm.

Every year, the Faculty of Engineering invites industry professionals from all market sectors to meet its Top Management, Professors and student representatives to discuss accomplishments, curricula, teaching methodologies, practical training plans and collaboration projects at the Faculty of Engineering- Ain Shams University. This year industry experts from 100+ companies will be joining discussions and workshops held for each market sector to discuss how to strengthen ongoing efforts and align graduates with the job market need. The output from these IAB meetings get are then used in our development plans. |
Every year on the Industry Day, we are proud to host tens of prominent speakers in our Mini Conference. In this conference, speakers from our Industry partners share with us technology trends, market forecasts, professional advice and collaboration opportunities.
