iGP'2018:
|
iHub has chosen one of its 2016 iGPs (Mega Projects) to target the design and implementation of An Autonomous Electric Vehicle. The project is still ongoing after 400+ undergrads have participated in its first two phases. The target of the project is to implement a working prototype vehicle which is electric and autonomous (able to operate without human assistance). This vehicle is composed of multiple systems that are outlined below and further broken down into smaller modules. Students from the following departments and programs are encouraged to join: CSE, ECE, EPM, MDP, MCT, MAE, MEP, COMM, ERGY, MCTA, MANF, MATL, and CESS.

2. Smart City
We have chosen one of the iGPs to target the design and implementation of modules for Smart Cities. The target of the two year project (starting last year) is to implement a working prototype for different modules to empower smart cities. This is the second phase of the project, where we will optimize many of the modules already implemented and start integrating many of them with the target application of having it installed at the New Capital. The considered modules this year are outlined below and further broken down into smaller modules. Students from the following departments and programs are encouraged to join: CSE, ECE, EPM, MDP, MCT, MAE, MEP, COMM, ERGY, MCTA, MANF, MATL, and CESS.
