Industrial Automation Internship

Entity: Siemens
Location: Tagamoa HQ and 6th October City Training Center (and location any of its clients)
Dates: 19/6/17 - 15/9/17  (may continue 1 day/week till the end of 2017)

PROJECT SCOPE
Process flow, instrumentation, motors and controls for conveying and bulk handling systems at Siemens
​
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
​Develop understanding of process and operating equipment at Siemens
  • Develop P&IDs / PFDs for conveying and bulk material handling systems
  • Develop Instrumentation, I/O & Motor lists
  • Audit existing instrumentation, controls and interlocks in the conveying and bulk material handling systems
  • Provide recommendations for improving system automation
  • Obtain quotes for recommended improvements
  • Responsible for implementation of selected proposal(s)

Qualifications
  1. Mechatronics, Energy or Electrical Power Eng undergrad registered at an accredited Egyptian University
  2. Must be expected to graduate in July 2018
  3. Has knowledge or took the following courses: 
    Introduction to Electrical Engineering,
    Programmable Logic Controllers,
    Mechanical Engineering,
    Digital System Design,
    Measurement Systems,
    Signals & Systems
  4. Be punctual and meets delivery deadlines
  5. Have good communication and presentation skills
  6. Possess excellent communication skills 
  7. Ability to work independently, prioritize and work towards objectives without close supervision.
  8. Desire for personal success and that of your team/company.
