Olympiad of Armenia
The Annual Microelectronics Olympiad is aimed at the development of the IT sector. The First Armenian Microelectronics Olympiad was established in September 2006 under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Armenia.
It is a contest for engineers and students under 30 years of age from different countries. The Olympiad’s charter is to stimulate further development of microelectronics in Armenia and in the participant countries; recognize and inspire young, talented engineers; increase interest in microelectronics among young specialists; and understand the level of knowledge among these specialists in the field of microelectronics in order to modify educational programs to comply with current trends.

Who can Participate?
Students and VLSI engineers under the age of 30, who have completed their military service and can travel.
How is the Olympiad Conducted?
The Olympiad is conducted in two stages
- The first stage will be held on August 10th, 2022 in iHub Building, Ain Shams University. It involves a baseline test by which all contestants will compete. Samples of the 1st round test can be found in the file attached below.

- The final stage will be held in Armenia among the top contestants of all participant countries. It involves a challenging contest and complex engineering tasks requiring advanced solutions. “The committee covers the travel cost of the 1st ranking of each country
