What can you make,
what can you design if, instead of using someone else
’s tools, you create your own?
If this question interests you, you are in the right place.

This is an introductory workshop covering the fundamentals of programming using processing step by step, as well as the use of processing in Computational Design.

This workshop, using Processing, is especially good for someone studying or working in a visual field, such as graphic design, painting, sculpture, architecture, film, video, illustration, web design, and so on. If you are in one of these fields (at least one that involves using a computer) this workshop will not only introduce a new tool but will develop your methodology through design process as well.

Students criteria
The Workshop is suitable for complete beginners
(No programming or special background is required).

Learning Outcomes
After successfully completing this workshop the participant will:
  • Learn the fundamentals of programming.
  • Be familiar with Visual Design Principles.
  • Develop the methodology through different design process.
