Training Description:
This workshop will introduce you in a fun hands-on manner to the basics of Robotic design. After the workshop you should
- Understand what robots are and how they can be classified
- Learn how to derive the forward and the inverse kinematic equations of the robot using Denavit-Hartenberg (D-H) representation technique and how to use the Robotics toolbox in MATLAB to get the D-H parameters
- Understand the differential kinematics problem of the robot
- Learn how to build a robot using Simulink/SimMechanics toolbox
- Understand Robot Language Development and different classes of programming languages (LABVIEW, ABB Rapid, etc) for industrial robot
