"ASU Innovates" is an annual competition that aims to build a community and stimulate innovation at Ain Shams University by challenging participants to come up with an innovative idea that solve an existing problem or add value in any discipline, including technology, entertainment, design, science, humanities, business and development. It also encourages the existing doers in the entrepreneurial scene of ASU community to present and share their entrepreneurial experience. Contestants will join a journey that provides them with knowledge, skills, mentorship, network, facilities and support to help them realize their dreams and launch their startups.
And for the third year in a row The ASU Innovates will pursue the Researchers Track that aims to build a community and stimulate innovation at Ain Shams University by challenging ASU researchers and Staff members to showcase their innovative ideas, research projects, patent, etc. that solve an existing problem or add value in any discipline, including technology, entertainment, design, science, humanities, business, or development. |

Idea
.Open for ASU Undergraduates
If you have an Idea that fulfil the needs of a certain customer segment and throughout the competition you will be guided to develop your idea. Team should be from 2-5 members. |
Startup
Open for all Startups
If you have a startup at the early stages with only an MVP, or if you have a mature startup, and want to learn how to build a Business Plan. You can apply whether you are an ASU graduate or not. |
Researchers
Open for ASU Academic Staff
If you have a research project that uses technology to solve real life problems. Your project could be in the basic technology research phase or in the launch phase of the TRL Model |

Accepted Applicants will enjoy the following benefits:
BootcampAccepted applicants will be admitted into an intensive bootcamp providing the needed capacity building in the fields of entrepreneurship, marketing, legal, ... etc

MentorsAccepted applicants will be guided throughout the competition by experienced mentors from the different fields. Mentorship sessions will be flexible and on-demand

Co-working SpaceAccepted applicants will be allowed to use the iHub co-working spaces across campus. iHub spaces are well equipped to allow young innovators to collaborate
