Formula Academy Event description
Formula Student UK is one of ASU Racing team annual competitions .
ASU Innovation Hub –iHub through iAcademy program is giving you a chance to be a part of the formula team , who will compete in 2018 in UK through “Formula Academy” program.
The program consists of two Phases :
1st phase :
Free sessions where the content is introductory sessions for all systems, attended by all members
This phase is consists of three sessions here each session consists of introductory content for two systems as follows:
After each session the instructor will give the attendees an introductory content which they should study to get ready for the 1st phase simple test which includes all the systems.

- Day 1: Orientation & Business intro.
- Day 2: Orientation, CFD, Electric .
- Day 3: VHD, Chassis.
- Day 4: Engine, Driveline .

Paid workshops for 2-3 weeks, it will be a detailed training for every system
1-Autodesk Inventor, the software used by ASU Racing team to o model the vehicle’s various systems.

The details of the sessions will be announced after the first phase
-Each phase ends with a technical test; the tech test after phase two is the gate to ASU Racing Team - Formula team
-Members from the academy will skip the learning phase in the FSUK ‘18 and will be treated as seniors (will start directly with the design phase)

Selection Phases to phase I are as follows:
1- Online Application
2- Paying 100 L.E. deposit, to be refunded if you attend all the three introductory sessions of phase I .
