The main objective of this training is to provide the participants with knowledge in competencies of automotive technology in order to provide automotive service partners with qualified engineers and increase opportunities of employability in the automotive industry.

Candidates should be a student Faculty of engineering majoring in Mechanical Engineering
Training Method:
The participants will
- Trainees who complete the training will get a training certificate from ASU iHub that is internationally recognized through our international partner STEEP
- ASU CHEP students receive 2 weeks of training credit for this training course
Training Objectives:
The main objective of this training is to provide the participants with knowledge in competencies of automotive technology in order to provide automotive service partners with qualified engineers and increase opportunities of employability in the automotive industry.
Training Contents:
- OH&S Basic information for conducting practical training at iHub
- How to deal with tools and equipment in iHub
- Identifying OH&S rules of iHub.
- The hazard of static electricity.
- Applying OH&S rules on the road with your vehicle during repairing the vehicle in workshops.
- Engine
- Engine components, cooling system, lubrication system, intake, exhaust, engine timing and turbocharger overview.
- Assembling and disassembling engine components.
- Assembling and disassembling cooling system, lubrication system, intake, and exhaust and turbo charger by special tools
- Engine timing system.
- Service and maintenance.
- Assembling and disassembling engine timing mechanism and valves.
- Simple tests and diagnosis on all engine components.

- learn all contents through lectures and presentations
- see practically what they have studied in lectures using training vehicle & models.
- conduct practical training on what they have studied (Assemble and dis-assemble) using:
- Models.
- Training Vehicle.
- Diagnosis device.
- All needed Tools and special tools.
