Internship @ iUSD & Univ. of Stuttgart

iUSD is a program jointly organized by the University of Stuttgart and Ain Shams University in Cairo. The program is an interdisciplinary one that trains professionals in the field of Smart Cities

Requirements: 
  • Undergrad in Ain Shams University
  • To be in Sophomore, Junior or Senior I year
  • To be from the following programs/departments: ECE, CSE, MCT, COMM and ERGY
  • Excellent Spoken and written English is a must
  • Knowledge about Renewable energy and power saving gadgets is a plus

Responsibilities: 
  • Be available and dedicated for 1 day/week for the duration of the internship (8 weeks)
  • Survey the market for renewable energy and power saving solutions
  • Intern will team up with a group of postgraduates (from different countries) to design an integrated Smart City solution for a New Cairo Site 
  • Document all data and results following the iUSD documentation guidelines
